Questi ultimi giorni sono particolarmente ricchi di notizie sul nostro ex-vampiro preferito: dopo la recente intervista telefonica per Moonlight Detective, ecco l’ultimissimo post scritto da Alex himself sul suo MySpace.

Hello everyone.
I would like to start by talking a bit about The American Red Cross. As you all know I was approached whilst on the show Moonlight to be a spokesperson and representative for this organization. Of course I accepted immediately. I felt honored to be a part of it and hoped I could somehow make a difference in the lives of others. Now with my Red Cross involvement drawing to a close I can only hope I did enough, but that being said I would like to bring up something I have mentioned before.
ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED!!
It was only possible for me to participate because so many wonderful, committed and passionate people came before me and put everything in it’s right place for me to be able to slip into the role I eventually did. There are so many of you (and you know who you are!) who were instrumental in this venture and some of you I had the opportunity to thank personally, but to the others I never met or spoke with, thank you so very much. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate the goodwill and charity with which you all worked, and if everyone in the world practiced the same selflessness as you, well….. ;) I think we would all be doing just fine by now! Thank you.
I have only just caught up on all of my birthday mail and there were many of you who sent the most wonderful gifts and cards/letters/messages. It made my birthday something extra ordinary and I felt very loved so thank you very much!!

As for me, I am great. I am very busy, and have been since we last chatted, on the new project I am developing but it is all still hush hush, sorry guys! Anyway, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up in case we don’t make it to the screen. So fingers crossed!
I will keep you all posted as soon as I have some exciting news!!

Ciao a tutti.
Vorrei iniziare parlando un po’ della Croce Rossa Americana. Come tutti saprete, sono stato contattato, mentre ero coinvolto in Moonlight, per essere un portavoce e un rappresentante per quest’organizzazione. Ovviamente ho accettato immediatamente. Mi sono sentito onorato di farne parte e ho sperato che potessi in qualche modo fare la differenza nella vita degli altri. Ora che il mio coinvolgimento con la Croce Rossa sta volgendo al termine, posso solo sperare di aver fatto abbastanza ma, detto questo, vorrei portare all’attenzione qualcosa che avevo accennato prima.
TUTTE LE ALTRE PERSONE COINVOLTE!!
Mi è stato possibile partecipare unicamente grazie a molte meravigliose, impegnate ed appassionate persone che sono venute prima di me e hanno sistemato tutto affinché potessi sostenere il ruolo che alla fine ho ricoperto. Ci sono molti di voi (e sapete chi siete!) che hanno dato un contributo decisivo in questa iniziativa e alcuni di voi che ho avuto l’opportunità di ringraziare personalmente, ma agli altri che non ho mai incontrato o con cui non ho mai parlato, grazie veramente tanto. Dal profondo del mio cuore, apprezzo la buona volontà e la carità con cui voi tutti avete lavorato e se tutti nel mondo avessero lo stesso altruismo, be’… ;) Penso che staremmo tutti proprio bene ormai! Grazie.
Ho appena finito di leggere tutte le lettere per il mio compleanno e ci sono stati molti di voi che hanno inviato bellissimi regali e card/lettere/messaggi. Hanno reso il mio compleanno qualcosa di fuori dall’ordinario e mi sono sentito molto amato quindi, grazie moltissimo!!

Per quanto riguarda me, sto alla grande. Sono molto impegnato, e lo sono stato dall’altra volta che abbiamo parlato, su un nuovo progetto che sto sviluppando, ma è ancora tutto aumme-aumme, mi spiace ragazzi! Comunque, non voglio alimentare le speranze di nessuno nel caso in cui non lo portassimo sullo schermo. Quindi dita incrociate!
Vi terrò aggiornati non appena avrò entusiasmanti notizie!!
